摘要：

System automation whose purpose is to limit the effects of severe disturbances, should operate under asynchronous conditions for the generating units. The conclusions of some ISPE studies on the behavior of generating units under such conditions are outlined. The criteria for detecting situations in which the automated fast separation of some large power units concerned, are also presented.
