摘要
Numerical solutions which can be obtained by the use of methods of redistribution, moments, semi-inversion of matrix equations and the modified numb method of residues, are compared. The qualitative and quantitative convergence characteristics, computer time required for attaining a given accuracy, estimates of the rate of decrease in the error due to truncation and a method of using the estimates for refining solutions, the stability of solutions, and the behavior of solutions at resonant points are investigated. A conclusion is given as to the most desirable method, in terms of the requirements imposed with regard to calculation accuracy.
