摘要
After aqueous cleaning the work pieces at the Kress company, a manufacturer of electric tools, are dried. In the drying there are problems especially with parts that have deep and narrow bore holes. A cleaning facility that uses a standard production pulse blowing system has thus been supplemented with an additional hot air drying that complies with high drying demands. The new system works on an aqueous basis and complies with environmental friendliness. Legal proscriptions placed on industrial, cleaning facilities are complied with more easily and cost effectively. The bath contains 300 L of cleaning medium. A two-stage filtration catches the solid impurities. Oils and greases are separated out and collected in a separate receptacle. The cleaning facility runs in one or two shift operation. Despite intensive use of over three months the cleaning medium does not yet have to be changed. The tool manufacturer places great value on thorough drying. Some parts, such as drilling and shaft spindles have deep and narrow bore holes. They form traps for the cleaning liquid and present in general a problem for the conventional drying process. This lengthens the drying time. Additional hot air drying was applied to the standard pulse blowing system. With the pulse blowing system the cleaning fluid is blown out of the work pieces. The air for this purpose flows from drying jets from above and below the charging system. The added hot air drying can be built into all the cleaning facilities of the manufacturer. It works like a hair drier. Air is drawn into a fan, heated to 100°C and conducted through a nozzle into the drying chamber. The cleaning process takes 8-10 minutes.
