摘要
A metastable localization (or inertia) of heat was discovered during an investigation of heat-conductivity processes in nonlinear media. The charge transport processes in charge-coupled devices (CCD) as a result of self-induced drift are described by differential equations, which is a special case of the equation of nonlinear heat conductivity. This gives rise to the possibility of constructing a new class of semiconductor devices, based on metastable charge localization effects and improvements in the characteristics of known devices by a more precise explanation of the mechanism for the processes occurring in them.
