摘要
It is established that the behavior of a steel electrode in an ammonium sulfate electrolyte is determined mainly by the free ammonia concentration. With an increase in the free ammonia concentration in the solution, there is an increase in the steady-state potential and a decrease in the polarization. It is shown that corrosion of the steel is possible in a narrow range of variation in the potential (0 - 0. 25 v) and occurs at insignificant rates. Under conditions of electrochemical processing of bimetal, complete passivation of the steel base is observed, which precludes the possibility of the dissolution of iron and, consequently, the contamination of the copper powders obtained by this metal.
