Expressions have been derived for calculating the period of self-excited oscillations and the instantaneous velocities for an electrically conducting particle; this was based on solution of the equation of motion in the uniform electric field of a plane horizontal capacitor, with allowance for the force of gravitation, aerodynamic resistance, and impact elasticity. For two fractions of a dispersed material, diagrams are given for concentration as a function of a parameter that characterizes the ratio of electrical and gravitational forces. The results obtained are analyzed.
