Flywheels of the Mechanical Energy Accumulators Formed by the Winding of Fibrous Materials.

Works performed at the Kazan Chemical and Technological Institute to determine the stress-strained state (SSS) of the promising designs of the flywheels with different patterns of the fibrous material laying and to analyze their specific power parameters are reviewed. The network analysis underlies the studies. Determination of the SSS and energetic parameters is performed with regard to large-size deformations. Recommendations are given on the feasible design of flywheels.
