摘要
Reactor internals are discretized as a beam and lumped-mass structural system subjected to external transient loads such as seismic and LOCA time-history forces. The INTRANS code computes component flexibilities of a discrete lumped-mass planar model of reactor internals by idealizing an assemblage of finite elements consisting of linear elastic beams with bending, torsional, and shear stiffness interacting with an external or internal, linear as well as nonlinear, multigapped, spring support system. A unique feature of the INTRANS system consists of its capability of evaluating transient responses of two or more subsystems involving impact or nonimpact conditions.
