Using the Faraday method, the magnetic susceptibility of copper containing Fe (up to 0. 3 wt %) and Ni (up to 3 wt. %) has been measured within a wide temperature interval. The paramagnetic component of chi -alloys containing Cu and Ni increases proportionately to the increase in nickel content. The paramagnetic component of Cu-Fe chi -alloys in the region of small concentrations varies nonlinearly. The breaking point seems to correspond to the boundary of the solid solution of Fe in Cu.
