Transportation is such a significant and costly activity within the life cycle of many chemicals that it has been accorded its own responsible care code of practice. The paper outlines the objectives and provisions of the CCPA's transportation code of practice and its associated program of activities entitled TRANSCAER - Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response.
