摘要
The article describes the refractory lining of fuel-fired furnaces for use in drop and open-die forging shops in which fibre blocks are used in certain areas not subjected to compressive and other mechanical stresses. It is shown what energY saving and improvement in performance was obtained when two groove-type pusher furnaces and a car-bottom furnace were lined with ceramic fibre modules instead of conventional refractories.
