Over the transmission path the digital signal is generally insensitive to interference signals. New possibilities of speech digitization are considered, along with moving picture digitization Questions of digital lie and radio transmission networks are discussed. TV picture digitization and the status of digital signal transmission to the subscriber over optical fiber cables are dealt with.
