摘要
Based on experimental data concerning the reduction of zinc oxide by carbon monoxide and the changes of the free energies of CO and CO//2, an equation has been developed that determines the dependence of the change of free energy on the temperature. The valid temperature range for the equation, given in the paper, is between 1180 and 1600 K. Similarly for the same reaction of reduction of ZnO by CO an equation determining the changes of the free energy as function of temperature is also given.
