摘要
NPDMC is a three dimensional Monte Carlo Code for multigroup neutron and photon coupled transport duct calculation. NPDMC code brings data base of cross section for 87 group neutrons and 25 group photons made by the Nuclear Power Inst of China and The China Inst of Atomic Energy. In the program design, some particular methods and the techniques were used so that the deep transmission and small probability problems which were encountered when the Monte Calor method was used in radiation shielding calculation were solved successfully. This program can calculate the flux, energy spectra, dose rate of neutrons and photons in pipe, beam hole and slots for the shielding design and analysis of research reactor and nuclear power reactor. The calculated and measured results are in good agreement for the duct of a pulsed reactor.
