This paper presents a method of optimal dimensioning for electromechanical, velocity-controlled servo-systems with digital, analog or 3-phase input signals. It is assumed, that the maximal error for a maximal constant velocity is given. For this, formulas are developed via a mathematic model. For each of the three types of servo-systems an example is given for verifying and demonstrating the theoretically found background.
