摘要：
One of the most elusive root causes of power plant problems is internal condensation of steam in large gate valves. Although such condensation is recognized by most engineers as a possibility, it may not be fully appreciated as a problem. This article provides some insights into valve condensation that might be of value to engineers at both nuclear and conventional power plants.
