In order to mechanize welding of vertical fillet joints, it is proposed to use a multihead installation and a pulsating arc. The design of the apparatus, multihead installations, is considered and conditions of welding of vertical fillet joints with free formation are described. This method of welding may be useful in shipbuilding and other industries.
