The existing modes of operation of an inverter circuit are established for a wide range of changes in the nature of load, from an inductive to a capacitance load, for various durations of the connected state of a valve of the main group theta equals 2 pi /3; theta equals pi . The nature of electromagnetic processes for each mode of operation, conditions of their change, the sequence of work of the valves, as well as the limits of the existence and dependence of the duration of the discreteness intervals on the load capacity ratio are determined. Special features of the operation of the valves of the direct and reverse current groups of an inverter for different theta are established.
