A Novel Conduction Modes of Three-Phase Six-Switch Voltage Source Inverter

摘要
This paper analyzes different conduction modes of the conventional square wave controlled, three-phase six-switch converter instead of the common 180 degrees or 120 degrees mode. THD and harmonic components of these modes are presented. Study of voltage and switching device utilization are also included in this paper. Simulation results prove the validity of the theories. The research in this paper has some discrepancies with some earlier work, which should be further studied.
