The economics of systems engineering

The study conducted to analyze the impact of systems engineering on the companies was discussed. The study was designed to measure the companies' decision-making efficiency, their ability to promote and capitalize on innovation, and the use of vision and mission in management. The analysis data showed that systems engineering saves time and money. It is suggested that a clear vision helps employees know their efficiency and how their work fits into the whole. The systems engineering proposals lead to profits due to a better approach, better executed programs and fewer lawsuits due to clear link to requirements.
