Measurement arrangements for solution of problems specific for different materials are described for the non-destructive testing of carbon fiber reinforced laminates by means of scanning X-ray diffraction methods. A simple prototype is already operating in testing of aircraft parts. The further development described here is able - in addition to mere defect detection - to determine specific materials properties selectively and independently of each other.
