摘要：

The authors investigate the potential errors in determination of the total current of a high-current relativistic electron beam that interacts with dense gas mixtures when the beam current is measured by means of an unevacuated Faraday cylinder. The dependence of the results of measurement by a reverse-current shunt on the length and volume of the region of beam-plasma interaction is shown.
