摘要
The paper presents the mathematical background for the simulation of the Adaptive Model Following Control (AMFC) of the speed of the permanent magnet DC motor. The chosen reference model is of the 1st order, whereas the speed control system is of the 5th order. As these orders are different, it is not possible to use the theory of AMFC systems without further investigation. The paper presents a detailed analysis of the behavior of such a system and takes into account the influence of the unmodelled dynamics of the speed control system. The results, which were obtained by exhaustive computer simulations, confirm superiority of the AMFC system over the nonadaptive system of the speed control. It is also shown in the paper that using a simple model of the adaptive system of the EMF control of the DC motor and disregarding the details of the speed control system leads to the results which can be used as a first approximation in the analysis of the AMFC system under development.
