摘要
Experimental studies have been performed on the elution of chlororganic pesticides used in dry-farming conditions on runoff areas (Moldavia, Baltsata) and under irrigation conditions (Uzbek SSR, Buirak) in order to provide a prognostic evaluation of the possible pollution of surface waters by these pesticides. It is found that the runoff coefficients for gamma - and alpha -BHC constitute tenths of a percent of the amount of pesticide applied to the fields under conditions close to maximum transport. The transport of BHC isomers from a plowed area is lower by an order of magnitude than from an area covered by plants. The transport of DDT with irrigation waters in a three-day irrigation cycle does not exceed 1% of the pesticide applied to the field.
