Huhtamaki Van Leer is forging ahead with its expansion plan through the acquisition of Packaging Resources (PRI) in the US. Huhtamaki has signed a letter of intent to buy PRI in a deal valued at $185 million on a debt free basis. The payment will be made in cash in exchange for PRI's share.
