摘要
The engineering systems analysis method proposed overcomes many of the current limitations on the use of computer techniques and appears to be a useful framework for systems design. Specifically, the process recognizes the multiplicity of objectives and criteria of evaluation, searches out the design strategies and configurations by sensitivity analysis. This system analysis methodology was applied to an actual design problem, the planning for the Third City Tunnel for New York City.
