EFFECT OF IMPURITIES (Fe, Co & Ni) ON THE SPECTRAL DISTRIBUTION OF PHOTOCURRENTS IN ZnS : Cu,O PHOTOCONDUCTOR.

The spectral distributions of photocurrents in ZnS : Cu,O photoconductor doped with Fe, Co and Ni impurities have been recorded. It is observed that killer impurities greatly modify the photoconducting characteristics. A charge transfer process between Cu and Co has been observed while such a charge transfer does not take place between Cu and Ni and Cu and Fe impurities.
