摘要
Water-oriented recreation on rivers is emerging as an important issue in water-resources management. This paper presents a method to identify recreational boating impacts, and discusses its management implications. It presents a case study of the Rideau Canal, including the Rideau River and lakes which form the waterway, which extends 198 km between Lake Ontario and the Ottawa River. Subjects covered include impact measurement, sightline shadows, and others.
