摘要
Properties of refractory bricks based on alumina were studied in relation with quantity and method of chromia introduction. The objective was to produce alumina-chrome refractories with high strength properties at high temperature together with high thermal shock resistance and resistance against melt dust. An application of alumochrome waste of oil chemical industry as chromecontaining component provides thermal shock resistant bricks with higher strength properties during heating. Slag resistant bricks with high thermal shock resistance can be produced by an introduction of chromia into bonding component of alumina burden.
