Investigation of the short-range order in Au-Te melts

摘要：
In the paper, the unusual phase behavior of the Au-Te melts is discussed. The data on free energy of formation combined with the results of enthalpy of formation measurements make it possible to calculate the entropy of formation of the melt at 753 K. A model was developed which allowed to make a conclusion that the thermodynamic behavior of the Au-Te melts could be partly explained by the presence of Au2Te associates.
