摘要
Optical interconnection between a linear microlens array and a channel waveguide array has been optimized (aperture of microlenses and separation between arrays) for its use in integrated optical computing. We studied a coupled microlens-channel waveguide array in which each lens has a 200-μm focal length, and each channel waveguide has a 4-μm modal field diameter, effective index of the fundamental mode of the planar LiNbO3 waveguide has been taken equal to 2.3, and the working wavelength is 1.57 μm.
