摘要
Mineral-insulated cables, the sheath of which is made of time-tested alloys, are now being marketed for use as thermocouples and heater conductors. The outer diameter ranges from 0. 3 to 13 mm. The author describes the design features and advantages of these mineral-insulated cables, which are being used to an increasing degree in many sectors of industry and research.
