摘要
A solution is found of the problem of excitation of magnetic solitons in a ferromagnet with 'easy plane' anisotropy by an external localized pulsed magnetic field. With a short pulse of length T the spatial distribution of the angle of rotation of the magnetization vector after operation of the pulse is found, and then the method of the inverse scattering problem is used to find the parameters of the non-linear waves that are generated. Analytic calculations are carried out in two limiting cases, where the size of the region of localization of the pulsed field is substantially larger or substantially smaller than the value νgT, where νg is the maximum value of the group spin wave velocity. The conditions on the parameters of the pulsed field which ensures generation of magnetic solitons are found. The influence of dissipative losses and means of compensating for them by additional applied fields are also discussed.
