摘要：
The results of computation are shown for distribution transformers having copper or aluminum windings and rated at 250, 400 and 630 kva. The transformers are designed with the aid of a digital computer program which minimizes the cost of active material (lamination sheets and winding material). A comparison is made of basic design parameters and costs of transformers with both copper and aluminum windings at the given limits of rated power.
