摘要
The sulfur tolerance of Na, Ba, Fe, and Ni catalysts to H//2 and COS was studied by gasifying in H//2O-N//2, H//2O-H//2-N//2, and CO//2-N//2 a model char (prepared by pyrolyzing Saran resin) and five coal chars containing the catalysts. The results for gasification at 850 degree C and 900 degree C and atmospheric pressure were analyzed in terms of the authors' modified volume-reaction model: f equals 1 - exp( minus a theta **b). H//2S and COS have little effect on the steam gasification of the pure carbon and Taiheiyo coal char, but reversibly deactivate the Fe and Ni catalysts added to the pure carbon during the steam-hydrogen gasification. H//2S has little effect on steam and steam hydrogen gasification of pure carbon containing Ba or Na. The deactivation of Ba by H//2S varies with the iron content of the coal char.
