摘要：
Considering that most of the lifetime systems are composed of a few kinds of many structures, the reliability of the system is represented by the use of two functions, one pertaining to the reliability of the structures, and the other pertaining to the systems configuration and redundancy. By the use of these two functions, an economical method to evaluate the reliablity of the system is derived. Then, for the case that these two functions can be assumed to be the Gaussian distributions, a simple method to compute the reliability of the system is developed.
