21st century challenges for the library profession

The article gives a survey from the 31st Conference of the Croatian Library Association, International Conference themed 'Users in 21st century - the challenge for the information profession', which was organised by the Croatian Library Association in cooperation with the Zadar Library Society. In addition to the basic data on the Society and the organisation of the election part of the Conference, a detailed presentation of the theme and the conclusions of the Conference are given.
