Eurocode 7 (EC7) Part 1 has been released as a prestandard with a trial period of three years during which the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) will make amendments. Subject to majority voting, the trial document will then become a full Euronorm (EN) and national codes will be withdrawn. EC7 Part 1 has nine chapters.
