摘要：

The optimum designs of linings of economical materials were calculated. On the basis of the solution obtained, designs of linings of tunnel kilns providing a reduction in costs of 5-30% have been developed in the All-Union Institute for Refractories. Further improvement in the linings is possible as the result of use on the hot side of high-temperature thermal insulators (resistant up to 1800-1900 degree C).
