摘要
Maintaining light-output stability is probably the most critical aspect of laser-diode-transmitter design. By utilizing optical-feedback techniques, however, one can sample a laser's output and hold it constant regardless of temperature changes or device characterization. The circuit presented in this article performs these functions, and although it is relatively simple, it exhibits good reliability, freedom from damaging transients and better performance than achievable with more complicated design approaches.
