摘要
The authors give the results of tests on pure metals for resistance to high-temperature salt corrosion when treated at 600 or 950 degree C for 20 h. The highest resistance to sulfide corrosion is displayed by chromium, and the highest resistance to chloride corrosion by tantalum. The authors describe the mechanism of high-temperature salt corrosion of metals under a film of fused salt.
