摘要
In this paper, methods and ways for regulation of lignin biosynthesis in forest trees were dealt with, and the catalytic mechanisms of major kinds of enzymes for biosynthesis and modification of monoligniols were discussed. It concluded that through chemical control, gene engineering, cell and tissue cultures the aim of manipulating lignin biosynthesis, and producing lignin - less or no lingin forest trees can be reached, thus a revolutionary changes for pulping and paper - making industry may be brought out, and a new and environment - kind prospect of pulping and paper-making industry may come soon in the future.
