Compared are the capabilities of the various deflashing techniques which are defined as the processes of removing excess plastic material from the bodies and leads of encapsulated circuits and components. Among the deflashing systems discussed there are chemical, wet blast, impeller wheel type, and compressed air blast deflashers.
