摘要
The machine used for cutting deep-drawn sheet-metal workpieces is a portal machine for sheets with an additional circular table slewable in three axes (B, C and W axis) to receive workpieces. These five axes are CNC controlled. In addition the laser cutting head stroke adjustable over 150 mm is the Z axis. The machine is designed for laser cutting of steel sheets up to about 10 mm thick and aluminium sheets up to about 2.5 mm thick. An RS 1200 CO2 laser (Rofin Sinar) with 1200 W power is used. It can be operated continuously in pulsed mode or in the so-called super pulsed mode. A multi-processor control system with parallel processing serves as CNC system.
