CMPC considering two new pulp mills

Chilean forestry firm CMPC will invest $1.6 billion over the next 10 years to build two new paper mills. The company will allocate $800 million for one plant in Argentina's Corrientes province. Another mill would be built in Chile in the next five years. The mills will boost CMPC plans to double its pulp capacity to 2 million mtons/yr from a current capacity of 1 million mtons.
