摘要
Microwave reflection probe used in this experiment gives electron density profiles in the range of 10**1**3-10**1**6cm** minus **3 with a high accuracy. Residual gas in the shock tube has a great effect on the initial stage of the ionization relaxation, and it consits mainly of water vapor and hydrocarbons. Air, nitrogen and oxygen have also effect on ionization realxation, but their effect is small compared with that of residual gas.
