Debonding and pull-out of fiber from an elastic matrix were analysed. The nonlinear functions of initial debonding stress, complete debonding stress and initial pull-out stress of fiber as the embedded fibre length were obtained. It has been certified by the existing pull-out test of steel wires from an elastic matrix. And it has been shown that the initial debonding stress of fiber approaches a constant when the embedded fiber length is comparatively large; the complete debonding stress of fiber increases with the increase of the embedded fibre length and finally gets to a steady state; the initial pull-out stress of fiber increases with the embedded fibre length.
