摘要
There are presented the results of using the Rapid Speech Transmission Index (RASTI) method for estimation of speech intelligibility in the three broadcast studies with area 90÷97 m2 and reverberation time 0.55÷0.70 S and in the musical studio with area 420 m2 and reverberation time 2.0 S. Microphones were placed at distances r=2.5÷8.5 m from the sound source. In the same conditions the articulation examinations by experts were carried out. It is found that in large rooms with high reverberation time the measurements on the basis of the RASTI method can result in underestimated values of speech intelligibility.
