Over the years, the new generation of LNG-receiving terminals is under consideration and active development like the offshore receiving terminals by most of the major gas companies is on. These radically new concepts will provide an efficient response for future project development where classical solutions are not possible or are too expensive. Here is an overview of the developments and the new concepts required to enhance the competitiveness of LNG importation projects.
