A class of 'nearly bilinear' systems is defined, which cannot only approximate singular perturbation bilinear systems, but also describe some practical industry processes. On the basis of the system, a simple method for designing the feedback controller of the system is presented. In addition, a modified scheme for designing the stabilizing feedback controllers for a class of bilinear systems with multiinput is given, where the nonlinear feedback control law is constructed based on Lyapunov's direct method. The efficiency of the methods is illustrated using the reduced bilinear model of a prctical ammonia reactor taken as an example.
